ADVICE, GUIDANCE & ADVOCACY
SAA-uk works to ensure that existing music programmes & activities running in Yorkshire are inclusive of South Asian arts and South Asian communities. This strategic work is part of SAA-uk’s commitment to capacity building through sharing successful models that we have developed. The initiatives SAA-uk will help support in 2006-07 include Community Outreach Classes & Saturday Music School (Leeds College of Music), South Asian Music CLYM (City of Leeds Youth & Music) Groups ( Artforms / Education Leeds) and Yorkshire Young Musicians.
INSTRUMENT PURCHASE, HIRE & REPAIR
Are you interested in buying a handcrafted instrument? Do you have an instrument that needs repair or servicing? Would you like to rent an instrument before making the commitment to buy? SAA-uk has a limited stock of high quality handcrafted instruments for sale. SAA-uk also offers an instrument repair service, re-stringing service & tuning service for harmoniums, sitars & other stringed instruments, santoors, etc. If you would like to hire an instrument, SAA-uk has a limited stock of sitars, tablas, santoors, dhols, keyboards and other instruments available.
